<![CDATA[<p>I have been thinking about the subject of "product syndication" for a couple of years now. I have been creating ecommerce websites for quite awhile and wished there was an easy way to share the product information across many sites easily, or even automatically. Some first thoughts were some sort of proprietary COM object that would upload CSV's to a central server every time product information was changed. After working on this method I realized that something more along the lines of RSS was necessary. Now I understand this is not perfect, but I do believe this is a good start. Ecommerce sites simply place a "zuvo.xml" file on their server. <a href="http://www.zuvo.org/zuvo.xml">Here is an example</a>. Here is the <a href="http://www.zuvo.org/zuvo-spec.html">working spec</a>. Please give me feedback and join in the project!</p>]]>
